Dima Gimburg Photo

Hello, my name is Dima Gimburg, 30 years old from Tel Aviv. Currently working for a great company called Fleetonomy as a Software Engineer. As part of my daily work at Fleetonomy I take part at developing our products and technologies both on client side and server side. For my own personal projects I write IOS applications and I am exploring the world of sound processing, trying to combine them both.

A Little Bit About My Personal Life:

Almost 3 years now since I married to the most beautiful, smart and funny woman, Ya’ara, and we are proud parents to little Jonathan. We own the cutest and super spoiled dog Simcha. I personally really like music, especially playing my guitars. My interests also include graphical design, photography, soccer (Real Madrid fan), cooking and of course programming. I have always loved computers, I love the way they help solve problems and make people’s lives better. I have a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering.

Professional Life And Skills:

Right now my interests are spread over variety of paradigms.

Web Development:

  • Client Side – VueJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, Browsers Extensions (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
  • Server Side – Python (Flask, Django), SqlAlchemy, NodeJS, PHP

Mobile:

  • Apple – iOS development with Swift 4, using mostly MVVMC architecture. Lately I’m writing more reactive programming with ReactiveX and RxSwift.
  • Android – Java and native development with C++

Other Languages/Frameworks I Am Familiar With:

  • Java
  • C, C++
  • SQL
  • Bash
  • Docker/Kubernetes

Software Architecture:

Reading and talking about software architecture and software design, is what I like to do. I love reading about all the cloud platforms, new technologies, about the development cycle and code management, and about new (and old) design patterns, trying to keep an open mind about all the variety of solutions out there. Furthermore I’m very interested at Continuous development paradigms (Integration, Delivery, Deployment) and patterns like Component Based Architectures and Micro-services Based Architecture.

More Interests:

  • Audio Programming
  • Cyber Security
  • Distributed and Parallel Programming
